Senior Advisor

Ebru Bjarnason holds the position of Senior Advisor on the Celeress' Board of Advisors. In this capacity, she offers valuable guidance and strategic direction to the leadership team as the company undergoes expansion. With her extensive background in operations and delivery, as well as a broad network of Federal Government customers and industry connections, Ms. Bjarnason plays a pivotal role in supporting key decision-making processes that facilitate Celeress' growth and steer it in the optimal strategic direction.

With an extensive career spanning over 25 years in the federal market, Ebru possesses a diverse skill set encompassing portfolio development and management, business development, complex program management, technology modernization, strategic planning, personnel management, and business growth acumen. Throughout her career, Ebru has collaborated with numerous federal agencies, but her primary focus for the past 15 years has been on DHS (Department of Homeland Security). More specifically, she has concentrated her efforts in the customs and border security, as well as the immigration-related domains. Her in-depth knowledge and experience in these areas make her a valuable asset in the field. Her passion is to help clients transform their operations and improve their mission goals.

Ms. Bjarnason held a leadership role as Vice President at Amivero, overseeing all DHS Accounts. Previously, Ms. Bjarnason worked for 24 years at GDIT (formerly CSRA, SRA), where she began her journey as a software developer and progressively advanced to become the CBP Account Manager of the Intel and Homeland Security division. In this capacity, she shouldered Profit & Loss responsibilities, ensuring the alignment of programs and operations with strategic objectives and investing resources wisely to deliver the utmost value and achieve exceptional outcomes.

Ebru earned both a Master's in Science and a Bachelor's degree from American University, majoring in Computer Information Systems. Additionally, she has obtained various certifications, including Program Management, SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master, and AWS Cloud Practitioner certificates.

Ms. Bjarnason dedicates her time as a volunteer for the Border Patrol Foundation, passionately supporting the organization's vital mission. This mission revolves around honoring the memory of fallen US Border Patrol agents and extending crucial support and resources to their families.
